No no no - the button doesn't mean what everybody THINKS it means

Just when I thought I'd seen it all in regard to bad web site navigation, I come upon this page on SourceForge.net. I got to it from the download page for a certain script. I clicked on the prominent button that says "EasyNews" (the name of the script I was trying to download). That brought me to this page, whose whole purpose in life, apparently, is to explain that I've clicked on the wrong link.

Does it not occur to the person who built these pages that, if a whole page is required to explain to users that they have clicked on the wrong link (since it obviously happens all the time), maybe something about that link should be changed?! :-)

Does anybody else find MySpace pages to be ugly and nearly unusable?

Does anybody else find MySpace pages to be ugly, hard to navigate, hard to use, ugly, overrun with 300% too many adds, ugly, disorganized, badly designed? Does anybody else get tired of pages which are long, long scrolls of miscellaneous materials piled randomly, topped off with a garish background image making it almost impossible to read the text?
