Bio: Patty Ayers

Patty Ayers, owner of WebDevBiz.com, has been fascinated with the business end of web development ever since she built her first web site twelve ago.

Patty has been producing Web sites professionally for ten years, with more than seventy-five sites completed. She is the owner of Carolina Web Solutions, a successful web design company specializing in small business Web sites.

Patty attended the State University of New York at New Paltz and Pace University, and is currently an avid student of marketing, advertising, and graphic design, in addition to web development.

She is co-author of Inside Dreamweaver MX (New Riders, 2002) as well as numerous online tutorials such as The Definitive Introduction to CSS in MX (ProjectSeven.com, 2002) and CSS Link Styles Tutorial (ThePattySite.com, 2001) and How can I make my pages look good on all monitors? Patty lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and when not on the computer, can be found playing keyboards, studying Spanish, cooking, gardening, or taking long walks, and plotting her next trip to Mexico.
